ALMOND & CHOCOLATE BROWN

The Bloom Collection by 101 Copenhagen is inspired by floral shapes, emphasizing soft and organic forms in a sculptural ceramic vase. Elegantly shaped, the design is defined by petal-like forms that fade into one another, reminiscent of the different stages of a bloom from closed to open. Rooted in 70s floral-inspired design, the vase is reinterpreted with a more raw and clean expression.

Smoothly curved surfaces are contrasted by a strong underlying geometry, while the warm Almond tone brings natural softness and depth to the form. As light shifts throughout the day, shadows gather in the folds of the design, giving the Bloom series a subtly changing, expressive character.

Not only a striking standalone sculpture, the vase and trays are also highly functional, as it is entirely waterproof. The Bloom Collection is an elegant styling object for the counter, dining table, shelf or entryway. Recalling the smooth grain of natural wood and the muted sweetness of roasted nuts, grounded in the earthy tones of sun-baked soil.

The back-painted hand-blown glass has a sturdy base reinforced with wood and metal, foam protection underneath to help grip to the floor to prevent sliding and help with stability.
