Bringing the legendary Danish weaver and textile designer Vibeke Klint's designs back to life, NORDICMODERN combines history, and modern practicality to its collection. The modernist rug designs are carefully selected in collaboration with the Klint family and true to their original starting point in design, colour scheme, high quality and finishing details.

Vibeke Klint (1927-2019). the queen of minimalist textiles, was of great importance to Denmark, with her simple, graphic textile and rug patterns.  Her work excels at bridging the gap between art and architecture, between craftsmanship and tactility, between tradition and modernist renewal. The simple, geometric shapes, pointed angles and simple lines that are highlighted, shifted or toned down by the play of colors in the yarns are her indispensable signature.
